The Society holds a monthly talk of matters of interest
to those living in Maldon and Essex.
Our programme restarted in April, with further talks to be confirmed
as Coronavirus restrictions are lifted.

As well as listening to speakers, you can find out local news on our notice boards and meet fellow members.
We have put together a programme of Zoom talks up to and including July, and hope we will be able to resume our meetings in the Cygnet room behind the Swan in September.
Elphin Watkin will talk about Secrets of the unique triangular tower at All Saints' Church on 1st July.
The list of speakers from September onwards currently includes Fiona Craven on The Border Force, John Lowe on the Museum of Power and Adrian Wright on Railways in Art.
Where we meet
When we can resume our talks in person, we will meet in the Cygnet Room, behind the Swan Hotel in Maldon High Street.
In the meantime, we will hold our talks via Zoom. Members can register for each talk by clicking on the links shown above.
When the current situation allows, a programme based on the above list of speakers will be set up, subject to personal availability. We will display a confirmed programme on this page.
